Acrylic is changing the way fine art photographs are displayed.

ABOUT: The best part of ocean photography is that it is ever-changing. No photo or wave will ever be the same; your settings can make a massive difference. To freeze the wave in time, I will use a shutter speed of 1/1200s or faster; this produces crisp, fine details. Slowing down the shutter speed to around 1/20s (speed of subject dependent) will create a motion technique I love to use above and below the surface. Revolver is captured underwater behind the wave, creating a cylinder-like shape as it breaks over the shallow sandbar; water clarity and camera settings, including focus depth, play an essential part in the outcome of the image.

Another motion blur sample from the water - 1/5s ( shutter speed ).
